Plot summary
Grant Boyer and Keri are newlyweds when Grant's idle thoughts begin reshaping the world around them. Whatever he imagines becomes real, and he has no idea where the power comes from. The changes frighten Keri, who finds herself married to a man whose daydreams take physical form. Word of what Grant can do reaches Smilecorp, a broadcasting company in need of higher ratings. Its power-hungry head, Larson P. Giles, sends his underling Col. Ferguson to bring Grant in alive, so the ability can be turned into a weapon. Ferguson moves on the couple with troops and tanks, and Grant and Keri must stay ahead of the hunt.
