Plot summary
Hurley Haywood wins the 24 Hours of Daytona five times, Le Mans three times and a Trans-Am title. Through the 1970s his partner and mentor Peter Gregg draws more attention, and the pair are likened to Batman and Robin. Haywood is seen with women, at times making public appearances with Penthouse models, yet he keeps his private life to himself. He was silent for years about being gay in the sport's macho culture. Archival footage and interviews with figures from racing carry the account, which asks whether the sport is ready for openly gay drivers, and Haywood now speaks about that and about his relationship with Gregg.
