Plot summary
Suken and Satyen are brothers. Their father lost the family's wealth when relatives produced fake documents and evidence and took all his properties. Suken's marriage to Sudha was cancelled because of the family's changed fortunes, while Satyen's engagement remained intact. Suken works hard, writing a book called Hum Hindustani, running an employment agency and performing in stage programs. Satyen is employed by Mr Verma, who one day gives him ten thousand rupees to deliver to someone else. Satyen leaves the almirah unlocked, and the money is stolen from it. Satyen is accused of the theft, and the case goes to court.
