Plot summary
Dhruv Shikhar grew up an orphan and worked at Purushottam's dhaba before becoming an entrepreneur. At the launch event for his virtual reality app he meets Aanya Mehra, and friendship turns into love. Aanya tells him that the man she marries must have a pet dog and a sweet family, and that a theater fire killed her parents when she was seven, after which she grew up with her uncle Dr. Sanjeev Mehra and aunt Roopa Mehra. Dhruv asks his best friend Shunty and a marriage broker, Joginder Arora, known as Shaadiram, to help him find people who will pose as his parents. Then he thinks of Purushottam, whose dhaba he once worked at, now living in an old age home in another city, and sets off with Shunty to find him.
