Plot summary
Takuro Hibinuma got through high school without any gift for sports, any knack for study or any girlfriend. Rock music gave him something he could do, and he and his friends formed a band called Rock 'n' Roll. After graduation they moved to Tokyo and played live houses. At one of those shows Takuro meets Saki Utagawa, a famous idol singer, who wants a song written by him. Takuro's rock and Saki's pop, and their ideas about music and about living, do not sit easily together.
