Plot summary
Félix and Sol take their son Adolfo and daughter Sara to a rocky hill outside Tijuana for an afternoon outing. The children go into a cave and do not come back. A gas station attendant tells the searching parents that the hill is cursed, and an earthquake shakes that night. Police find the boy and girl the next morning, and the family returns home. There, Adolfo and Sara grow withdrawn and begin behaving strangely, and a doctor and a psychologist find signs that something happened to them while they were missing. Félix looks for an ordinary explanation for his children's behavior, while Sol keeps thinking about the attendant's warning.
