Plot summary
At the start of the 20th century, Babbs Baberley has no job and no home, and the police want to arrest him for vagrancy. He slips into a rich house, where he runs into Charlie and Jackie. Babbs tries to disguise himself as a woman, and that failed attempt gives the pair an idea. They threaten to hand him to the police unless he dresses up again as Donna Rosa d'Alvadorez, the millionaire aunt whose visit from Brazil is expected. As the fake aunt, Babbs is to charm Judge Criggs and win the judge's permission for his nieces, Annie and Betty, to marry Charlie and Jackie.
