Plot summary
The Abaddon Hotel has stood abandoned for years and is rumored to be haunted. Billionaire Russell Wynn has bought the building and intends to stage his interactive show, Insomnia, inside it. The show is an immersive theater piece based on Faust. Wynn invites journalist Vanessa Shepherd and her crew to make a behind-the-scenes documentary of the production, giving them access to the hotel as the performance is readied. Wynn has his own reasons for moving the show to the Abaddon. Nine years have passed since the events at Hell House, and the hotel is about to open to the public once again.
