Plot summary
Enric Benito is an oncology specialist and an honorary member of the Spanish Society of Palliative Care. Fernando Sureda, a former director of the Uruguayan Football Association, is living with ALS and seeks an early death. An ocean separates the two men, and the pandemic keeps them from meeting in person, so their friendship takes shape through virtual talks. Those conversations return to pain and the acceptance of it, to commitment to those closest to them, and to a sense of humor.
