Growing Up with I Spit on Your Grave (2019) on Netflix

Plot summary

The 1978 film I Spit on Your Grave grew out of its maker's encounter with a teenage girl in a park after a violent assault, and his wish to show rape's real horror. Its story follows Jennifer Hills, a magazine writer from New York City who goes to a secluded cabin to write her first novel. A documentary made 36 years later brings the cast and the maker back on screen to discuss how the film was made and the debate around it: critics Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert called it the most offensive film they had seen.
