Plot summary
A Jewish teenager in Mexico is preparing to swim at the nationals. A goy employed at a radio station asks her to a concert, and the two get caught up in adventures and a romance. What grows between them puts pressure on her beliefs and on the bond she has with her family. The country around them is living through its worst economic and political crisis. Her father is determined to keep the young man away from her and to keep his family pure, and he will do whatever it takes. She confronts him as she tries to build a destiny of her own.
