Plot summary
Jaya Kumari, known as Jerry, shares a home in a Punjab town with her mother Sarbati and her younger sister Cherry. Her earnings as a masseuse leave the household short. When Sarbati is found to have lung cancer, the treatment demands 25 lakh rupees. Jerry cannot raise that sum, and her hunt for money brings her into contact with a trafficking gang run by Timmy and Daler, who put her to work as a courier. She is frightened at first, then adept at the trade, and the pay covers her mother's care while the family knows nothing about where the money comes from.
