Plot summary
Tian Tian raises a five-year-old daughter on her own, and she kills a drug dealer. The dealer's associates want vengeance, so she flees a drug den and asks her cousin Fang Di for somewhere to stay. Five years have passed since the two women last met, and their estrangement reaches back two decades. Fang Di has been made hard by a life of struggle and by dreams that broke, and she is reluctant to reconcile with her cousin. The criminals hunting Tian Tian are drawing nearer, and no one else can help her, so the cousins' fates are bound together once more.
