Plot summary
Four demons climb into the truck that carries Satan's Den, the carnival attraction owned by Larry and his Uncle Ned, when the two men stop at a repair shop on their way to the fairgrounds. At the carnival, owner P. Hardin warns his staff that attractions which do not earn money will cost them their jobs, and he assigns Sir Nigel Penneyweight to work Satan's Den alongside Larry and Ned. Hardin also shows interest in Nicole, who is Larry's girlfriend. Once the creatures settle inside the ride, visitors who catch sight of them take them for part of the show, and Satan's Den becomes the fair's biggest draw.

- Charles Band says he was asked to devise a great campaign to promote Ghoulies and came up with the idea of a Ghoulie popping out of a toilet during a brainstorming session with Gary Allen. - For Ghoulies IV, the filmmakers replaced the puppet Ghoulies of the previous films and cast little actors in costumes instead.
- Ghoulies II had never been released uncut since the original cast and crew premiere until the Austrian company NSM Records put out a fully uncut R-rated Blu-ray version in 2017.
