Plot summary
The film follows Roger Stone, a Republican political strategist and lobbyist who testified at the Watergate hearings and became a longtime advisor to Donald Trump. Filmmakers began shooting with him in late 2011, after one of them met him at a political function, and the project took five years to complete. The idea for the project came from a New Yorker article. Stone has also worked as an outspoken author, a pundit and an election strategist, and the documentary looks at the people he has offended on both sides of the political fence and at Stone's transformative effect on modern American politics.
