Did you know?!Facts and trivia about Get Back Up (2020)
Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- Blue October raised the money for Get Back Up on the crowdfunding site PledgeMusic, which was declared bankrupt on 31 July 2019; the band received none of the funds for the documentary because PledgeMusic paid artists only after the funded project was released, yet the band finished the film and fulfilled every order.
- Get Back Up was originally meant to document Blue October singer Justin Furstenfeld's return to sobriety, but while making it the band decided the subject was too narrow and widened the film to the group's relationships, how his addiction affected them, and their family ties.
