Plot summary
Cursed before birth, gunslinger Aman owes his life to his mother, a nun who broke her covenant with God. The curse makes every person he kills return from the dead. A gang of his undead victims, led by the skinless Kansa, now hunts him. After a week, the undead shed their skin and take new skin from the people they kill, and only a destroyed brain can stop them. Aman kills a group of disfigured people gathered near a railroad, tearing the head and spine from one body. In the desert, he kills guards and frees a young criminal named Fabulos, who joins him.
