Plot summary
Thirteen years after Evelyn took his own life, his family begins a series of long walks across the UK. His brother and sister are among the relatives who set out together, and other members of the family join them. The walks pass through the landscapes that Evelyn liked to walk in his lifetime. The outings are the family's way of dealing with the effects of the suicide.

- Much of Evelyn looks as though the camera operator walked backwards, but cameraman Franklin Dow built a rig that sat on his back with a stabilising mechanism and a screen in front, letting him watch the family walking behind him and chatting.
- Evelyn's sister Gwendolyn Einsiedel, a musician in her own right, contributed one song to the film and remembers singing almost every day during the making of it, though very little of that made the final cut.
