Drunk Parents (2019) on Netflix

Plot summary

Frank and Nancy Teagarten make the five-hour drive that leaves their daughter Rachel at an Ivy League college, where she will train to become a vet. Back at their large house, a tow truck comes for their SUV because the lease payments are overdue. Frank explains where the hardship began: he had put money into an artificial heart valve that drew bad press, and he lost everything. The driver, a former paramedic, takes pity and agrees to say for now that he found no vehicle. The next day the couple carries household goods out onto the lawn and acts as if a sale were happening, while turning away the neighbors who ask about it. Jason, a young wheelchair user who has dated Rachel, stops by, and Frank mocks him, which Nancy dislikes.
