Plot summary
Sunil Bhateja shares a rented house with his daughter Sweety and son Sunny, and his estranged wife Priya is demanding a divorce. His mother, Darshan Kaur, has been in a coma for thirty years, and the house belongs to his friend Goldie, so Sunil refuses to move out. Sunny's friend Pappi reads aloud from a magazine beside Darshan's bed; she briefly wakes, then slips under again. The doctor says she will soon regain consciousness, but her mind will be weak, and nothing may dishearten her. The family sets about returning the house to its 1980s look, and Sunil pleads with Priya to come back.
