Plot summary
In 1977 the lawyer Mitch Hansen and Judy LaRue, his fiancée, are in a car crash. Judy dies, and Hansen appears to die as well. He wakes during his own autopsy with a disfigured face. A decade later he lives in an abandoned asylum, watching old films and treating anyone who comes in as an intruder. Judy's daughter Kiki arrives there with friends, among them Mike, Jane and Dennis, while a rock trio, Tina and the Tots, practices loudly inside.
