Bobby studies in Kakinada and holds to the Marxist ideas his grandfather passed down: a comrade joins other people's fights against cruelty and puts their needs first. A student union fight killed her brother, and she wants nothing to do with violence. She comes to Kakinada for a wedding, where Bobby meets her and falls in love.
