Plot summary
Rocky Mulloy is doing life for a robbery and a murder he had no part in. Five years in, Delong, a one-legged ex-Marine, shows up with a made-up alibi that gets him released, hoping for a cut of the $100,000 that the job never turned up. Rocky tells him he was not involved and sets out to learn who put him away, and to get Danny Morgan out too. Danny is his friend and is still serving time for the same crime. Back in Los Angeles, Lieutenant Gus Cobb informs Rocky that he will be followed day and night. Rocky and Delong take a trailer in the park where Nancy Morgan, Danny's wife and Rocky's old girlfriend, lives. Rocky corners the bookie Louie Castro and asks him for $50,000 at gunpoint.
