Plot summary
Costao Fernandes is a customs officer in Goa in the 1990s, and his dedication to law enforcement puts him on the trail of a gold smuggling syndicate. A tip sends him after the men who move the gold, and his inquiries bring him into conflict with the people running the operation. Peter, one of the men in the ring, is the brother of a politician. The investigation brings pressure on both the professional and personal fronts, and Costao keeps working to expose the smugglers running it.
