Plot summary
A retrospective assembled from one studio's horror and thriller trailers moves from The Hunchback of Notre Dame in 1923 and The Phantom of the Opera in 1925 through decades of monsters. Frankenstein, Dracula, the Mummy, the Wolf Man, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, Tarantula, Godzilla and the Incredible Shrinking Man all appear, with around fifty titles in all, among them The Bride of Frankenstein, Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein and Psycho. A host introduces the clips. The host's segments were shot on the studio's backlot, at Dracula's Castle, European Street and the Psycho House. The tribute had a limited theatrical release before it went to video.
