Plot summary

Boston's municipal government is observed over several months without narration or interviews. Mayor Marty Walsh meets with aides in City Hall, tells business leaders how climate change affects the harbor, hears veterans at Faneuil Hall on November 11, spends Thanksgiving at Goodwill Industries, and delivers his state of the city address in Symphony Hall. Other city workers help residents through an eviction prevention team, a group focused on Latina women's economic progress, and an economic development adviser assisting a grocery store that serves a particular ethnic community. Several officials voice concerns about the policies of the Trump administration.
