Plot summary
Two police officers travel under the names Anthony and Shajivan to Churuli, a village set in dense forest, on a covert mission to capture a wanted criminal, Myladumparambil Joy. Anthony is experienced and Shajivan is a rookie. They ride a jeep toward the village, claiming they have come to work for a man named Thankan. The driver tells them Thankan is away and they should stay until he returns, and once the jeep crosses a wooden bridge the friendly passengers turn crude. In Churuli the pair work in a tavern owned by Philip and wait, Anthony drinking and eating game meat while Shajivan struggles to adjust and dreams of strange lights and two alien-like figures.
