Plot summary
Brandon discovers that his wife has been unfaithful just before the anniversary trip he had planned for the two of them. Instead of confronting her, he invites Dan, a childhood friend he has grown apart from, to come along on the prepaid vacation to Thailand. He tells Dan that he does not want a divorce but is unsure whether the marriage can be saved. The two men take the excursions and tours that were meant for a second honeymoon, traveling through caves and vistas. Dan throws himself into the country and presses Brandon to think about his situation, while Brandon stays fixed on his marriage and on what he should do next.
