Plot summary
A cinematographer travels to many countries to film other people's stories, and over the years she accumulates footage that becomes the raw material of a self-portrait. It is an autobiographical collage: scenes from different places and different years are placed beside one another, and she turns to her own life and to her work behind the camera. Archival footage includes Jacques Derrida, Michael Moore and Richard Johnson, each appearing as himself.
