Plot summary
In the Latin American jungle, Klaas Van Gelder owns a plantation and his wife is Dina Van Gelder. Barney Chavez manages the plantation. Al-Long, an old native witch, places a voodoo curse on Barney, and each night he becomes a rampaging, gorilla-like beast. Taro, a superstitious police commissioner, looks into a rash of strange animal killings. The farmers he questions have seen the bloodthirsty animal and identify it as Sukara, a mythical jungle demon resembling a gorilla.
