Plot summary
After an environmental catastrophe, plants no longer grow on Earth and the oxygen in the air has fallen to five percent. Darius, his wife Maya, and their daughter Zora share a bunker close to Brooklyn with Darius's father, and they breathe air from a generator that Darius assembled. Trips outdoors require oxygen tanks and last only a short time. When his father dies, Darius goes out to bury him and never comes back. Maya and Zora then meet two strangers carrying long guns who are looking for the bunker.
