Plot summary
The scientist Johan Rockström and his team have identified nine planetary boundaries, the limits that have kept Earth's systems in balance for the last 10,000 years. David Attenborough narrates as their research shows human activity pushing the planet past those limits while biodiversity collapses. Greta Thunberg appears, and she provides the foreword to a book of the same name released with the film. The research also describes how the crisis could still be averted.
