Plot summary
Gimhae is where the traveling program National Singing Contest is due to film, and locals see a place on it as a way to become a star. Bong-nam works days at his wife Mi-ae's hair salon and nights driving businessmen, though his dream is to sing; he enters the preliminary auditions without telling her. Mi-ae's younger sister Hyun-ja, who has a crush on Dong-soo of the PR department, is ordered by her health drink company's CEO to enter the contest to promote the product, and she does with his help. Mayor Joo Ha-na, running for reelection, wants an appearance of her own but sings badly, and section chief Maeng is pressed to arrange it. Bo-ri practices with her grandfather, who keeps forgetting the lyrics, while her mother plans to move to Canada.
