Plot summary
Savoy Brown, Mitch Sheppard and K.C. are three American college students. For winter break they leave the United States and travel to Finland. While vacationing there, the friends cross the border into the Soviet Union. In a small village on the other side, the three clash with corrupt leaders. The skirmish with Soviet soldiers ends with the young men arrested and taken to a prison.

- Born American was originally supposed to star Chuck Norris, but he backed out when filming was delayed by funding problems, and his son Mike Norris landed the lead instead.
