Plot summary
Bill Chrushank is a psychologist who works with convicted killers at a prison. While he is driving to work, a car accident costs him an arm. Dr. Agatha Webb persuades Bill's wife to approve an experimental transplant, and Bill wakes from the operation with a new arm. Released from the hospital, he returns to his sessions at the prison, and for a while everything seems normal. Then the visions begin: Bill sees murders as if he were the one committing them, and now and then the new arm acts on its own, beyond his control.
