Plot summary
Margaret Fuchs was born at the instant her father's expedition spoke the name of Tera, the Egyptian queen whose tomb they had found, and she resembles the queen exactly. Professor Fuchs has since brought Tera's mummified body and her relics to England and rebuilt the tomb beneath his own house. Days before her birthday, Margaret is troubled by recurring nightmares; her father gives her the queen's ruby ring and tells her to keep it on. She notices Corbeck, once her father's colleague and now his rival, watching from the house across the street. He wants Tera restored to life, and he asks Margaret to help him gather the relics that are still missing. Her father's former colleagues are afraid of her.

- Director Seth Holt collapsed into cast member Aubrey Morris's arms and died of a heart attack five weeks into the six-week shoot. Michael Carreras asked Don Sharp to take over, but Sharp had already signed to direct a film in Israel.
- Peter Cushing was cast in Blood from the Mummy's Tomb and completed one day's filming before leaving the production after his wife was diagnosed with emphysema; Andrew Keir replaced him.
- Writer Chris Wicking fell out with producer Howard Brandy and was barred from the set, but kept working on the script with director Seth Holt in the evenings.
