Plot summary
Martin Behrens is a Middle East expert at the BND, a German intelligence agency. The information he obtains leads to a U.S. drone strike in Zahiristan on a wanted terrorist. A few days later, a terrorist attack hits a restaurant, and a video claiming responsibility for the attack calls it payback for the drone strike. Among the victims is the freelance journalist Aurice Köhler, with whom Martin was having an affair. Martin sets out to look into the two linked events himself.
