Plot summary
Travis Graham is a lonely, uneducated young man in Texas whose abusive father has just died. The will leaves the father's money to a television preacher, but Travis inherits a large farm and a valuable coin collection. Kelly Ann Welsh, a hitchhiker, walks into his life. Around the same time, Jolene, a blonde who says she is from England, starts taking an interest in him after supposedly wanting to buy the farm. Still grieving and in need of comfort, Travis becomes the object of both women's attention, and each of them is secretly after something.
