Plot summary
In competitions held around the United States each year, thousands of baristas take part and only one leaves as the National Champion. Eden-Marie Abramowicz, Charlie Habegger, Truman Severson and Ryan Redden treat every detail of extraction as something to master. Charles Babinski, based in Los Angeles and holding sponsorship deals with a large coffee company, decides to enter the field as well, and his confidence contrasts with the humility of the other four.
