Plot summary
Kang-il works as a rescue firefighter, and he carries the guilt of an accident in which his wife died while he was saving someone else. Mi-soo is a doctor at a general hospital who misdiagnoses a patient; when the woman's condition turns critical, her husband sues, and a lawyer warns Mi-soo that her medical license is at risk. His advice is to bring Kang-il in as a witness to an assault the grieving husband committed. Mi-soo decides to win the firefighter over by dating him. Kang-il wants nothing to do with her plan and brushes her off, so she signs on as a paramedic to work at his side.
