Plot summary

Convinced she is a cyborg, Cha Young-goon slashes her wrist at the radio factory where she works and plugs the wound into a wall socket to charge herself. She is admitted to a psychiatric hospital, where she refuses food, licks batteries for power and speaks to the machines around her, listening to her radio at night. Her mother is questioned by the head doctor, who learns that the young woman's grandmother had been institutionalized for believing she was a mouse. Il-soon, a patient who wears rabbit masks and brushes his teeth when uneasy, says he can take other people's traits, and he becomes interested in Young-goon, who wants to track down her grandmother and punish the people in white who took the old woman away.
