Ask Dr. Ruth is a documentary portrait of Ruth Westheimer, a German-American sex therapist and Holocaust survivor who became the best known authority on sex in the United States. The title comes from her syndicated late-night television series, which began in 1987. With her 90th birthday approaching, she recounts the life she has led and the career that made her known.
