Plot summary
In 2009 in Osaka, Asako falls for Baku at first sight. Haruyo, her friend, doubts the carefree young man, whose impulsive ways she expects to bring pain. Asako is drawn to him anyway. After a night at the home of their friend Nobuyuki, she wakes to find Baku gone. Nobuyuki says Baku has often vanished this way since his father died. Baku returns and promises he will always come back. Then he disappears again. Two years later Asako works at a coffee shop in Tokyo. She encounters Ryohei, a salaryman at a sake company, and is struck by how closely he resembles Baku. She shouts Baku's name before she realizes he is a different man. Though puzzled, Ryohei becomes interested in her.
