Plot summary
Tarika Bansal has always dreamed of studying abroad, and her father Champak backs the ambition even though her marks are weak. A strong showing in her final school examinations earns her a scholarship from Truford University in London, which partners with her school. At the school's annual day, Champak recognizes the chief guest, Judge Chheda, as the man who accepted a watch from his half-brother Gopi in a dispute over the Ghasiteram name, and speaks out against him on stage. The principal, the judge's wife, tears the scholarship letter apart. Champak vows to send his daughter to London anyway, and he and Gopi set out for England with her.
