Plot summary
Ana is nine and has never seen the sea. The trip her mother takes her on is meant to be a rest, and the beach they reach is isolated enough that there is nobody to ask for help once Ana works out how much trouble the two of them are in.
Setting off to find her father, she falls in with Bruno, and the search carries the pair well beyond the beach and into company no ordinary cartoon would keep. The animation is aimed at grown viewers as much as young ones.
Carlos Carrera directed for Anima Estudios, Discreet Arts Productions and Itaca Films, from a script by Daniel Emil and Flavio Gonzalez Mello. Galia Mayer voices Ana and Silverio Palacios voices Bruno, with Marina de Tavira as Carmen, Damian Alcazar as Ricardo and Hector Bonilla as Dr. Mendez. The Spanish language film runs 96 minutes and is rated TV-14.
