Plot summary
Filming took more than three years and the production ran for five, and the finished film gathers 77 interviews with people in the United States adult entertainment industry. Ten members are profiled, among them performers and people who work in production, all of them in the San Fernando Valley, where 80 percent of American porn films are produced. One interviewee is a former porn star who directs the Adult Industry Medical Health Care Foundation. Others include a 2006 AVN Award winner, a former stripper who became a performer and director, and a filmmaker. The interviews also cover their personal lives.
