Plot summary
The documentary argues for a plant-based diet. It looks at what eating meat, dairy and eggs does to health, and asks why the organizations that set health advice and the companies that make drugs behave the way they do. Its case comes from interviews with physicians and other people about diet and disease. The filmmaker also tries to reach representatives of several health organizations and is not satisfied with what they tell him. The project was paid for by a crowdfunding campaign and released online. Doctors, dietitians and journalists have said the film contains scientific inaccuracies; it was nominated for a Cinema for Peace award.
