Plot summary
Kamil, Lyosha, Sasha and Slava are well-off professionals in their late thirties who have known each other for years. An invitation from a friend in Odessa gives them an excuse to leave Moscow: two days on the road, a birthday party, a nightclub run by a friend of Slava and a concert by the band B-2. Kamil and Slava set off first. Lyosha is held up at home by household chores, Sasha by clients who will not leave his office, and both have to get away before the drive can begin. Once they are together in the car, the conversation covers work, money, cars, football, marriage and women, and the arguments about whether to marry or to be unfaithful fill the road. They stop for the night in the village of Beldyazhki.
