Plot summary
Jacob Sternwood shot Detective Max Lewinsky in the leg and got away, and Lewinsky has been after him ever since. Sternwood has been hiding in Iceland. His son Ruan is hospitalized after collapsing on a runway while using an alias; Ruan called an Icelandic landline beforehand. A police taskforce flies to Iceland to look for Sternwood, but Lewinsky doubts the trip will work; he argues that publicizing Ruan's location would bring the father to the hospital instead.
