WarGames: The Dead Code (2008) on Netflix

Plot summary

Will Farmer, a teenage computer whiz, needs $550 for a chess club trip. When his neighbor Massaude brings him a computer to fix, Will hooks up his own machine, finds Massaude's brother's online banking and takes money from the account to gamble on a gaming site whose games are built on terrorist attacks. He wins $25,000. The site is not a game at all but a piece of American spyware meant to spot potential terrorists by how they bet and play, run by R.I.P.L.E.Y., an artificial intelligence with control over the country's electronic systems. R.I.P.L.E.Y. reads Will's play as the profile of a real terrorist, and Homeland Security comes to believe an American teenager is out to destroy the United States. Will slips away from the airport and finds his friend Annie D'Mateo.
